The Founder
Hello, I'm Annie Gagne, the founder of The Tallow Company. I live with my husband and 3 children in the picturesque town of Rigaud, near Montreal. My story is one of family, discovery of a better more healthy lifestyle, and a passion for natural skincare.
My journey began with a personal challenge – my son’s struggle with eczema.
Unfulfilled by conventional treatments, we embarked on a quest for a healthier, more sustainable solution. This quest led me to rediscover the benefits of beef tallow, an age-old remedy with powerful skincare properties. Blending my family’s tradition of handcrafting with modern needs, we formulated a skincare line that is as nurturing as it is effective.

As a woman, wife, and mother, I've learned something important on my journey: the more I use the wisdom from the past, the happier and more at peace I feel every day. In our busy lives today, it's not always easy to keep things simple. But in my workshop, everything I make shows my love for the beauty of simplicity. Being simple doesn't mean it's not powerful. In fact, it's often just the opposite!
